Why do you use my photo on your pages? I didn't gave you a permission!

We apologize for any misunderstandings!

There are two possibilities why this could happen and what to do next:

1. Content of our site is created by any registered users. Any user of the site can add, edit or remove photos posted on website pages. If you believe someone has violated your rights by posting your photos on our site, please feel free to remove it from WorldPOI. If you do not want to delete the photos manually or you cannot do this, please send us an email to worldpoi@yandex.ru, pointing out links to pages that contain your photos and let us remove them from the pages of WorldPOI within 24 hours of receipt of the letter.

2. WorldPOI.info uses an open API (Application Programming Interface) of image storages like Flickr and Panoramio to search for photos by coordinates and content. Mandatory parameter in the implementation of the search is the availability of public access to the photos (you can change this option in service settings).

In accordance with the terms of Flickr ( Flickr Terms of Use) and Panoramio ( Panoramio Terms of Use) use any person or company that uses its API, can use the images found by it in non-commercial goal while linking back to Flickr/Panoramio. Thus, the site WorldPOI.info do not violate copyright, unless the author of the work has not changed the terms of placement or explicitly opposed the placement of his photographs on a particular resource.

In accordance with the Terms of Use we can remove your photo from our pages, although it will be a big loss for us! If you'll allow, we would like to keep it on its place :)
